The branches, trunk, and background are all made with 4-inch finished courthouse steps blocks made with the Creative Grids Trim Tool. Since each round is trimmed before the next round is added, all of the blocks finish to the exact same size so final construction is a breeze! The 3-inch finished stars are made with the Creative Grids Strippy Star Tool, so the points float and are not lost when adding a border of the background fabric. Simply genius!
