If you've been wanting to teach (or learn) machine applique', Cut Loose Press™ has some simple, quick to master patterns. The best one for practice is called Blossoms (CLPCMC001) by Cindi McCracken. This pattern uses Creative Grids® Circle Savvy Ruler (CGRSAV1) to cut the blossoms that are fused to the background and then appliqued. It creates the perfect opportunity to practice both curves and straight lines. You can use a simple blanket stitch, or get creative with some of the fancy stitches on your machine.
