CLPJAW046 - 40in x 40in. The Creative Grids Log Cabin Trim Tool for a 4-inch finished block (CGRJAWMN4) is required. A Creative Grids 2-1/2 inch wide rectangle (CGR212; CGR218; or CGR224) is recommended. Designed by Jean Ann Wright. This pattern includes fabric requirements and instructions to complete quilt shown. Confident beginner skill level.

Just twenty 2-1/2 inch jewel tone strips provide the color in this stunning quilt. Since the blocks are made with the Creative Grids Log Cabin Trim Tool for 4-inch finished blocks, the strips to create the logs are 1-¼” wide, half the width of a 2-1/2 inch strip. Use the line down the center of any Creative Grids 2 ½” rectangle to cut these strips in half and you’ll be ready to sew in no time.

All the blocks are made exactly the same way. But by rotating the finished blocks, a secondary star pattern in the center is formed!
