Dilly Dresdens PDF Pattern

CLPCAM018 - 18in x 45in. The Creative Grids 22-1/2 Degree Triangle Ruler (CGRT225) is required. The Creative Grids Archie Machine Quilting Tool (CGRQTA3or CGRQTA3LS) is recommended. Designed by Camilla Quilts. This pattern includes fabric requirements and instructions to make the table runner shown. Intermediate skill level.

Dilly Dresdens is dramatic done in country colors, but would be great all dressed up for Spring as well. These double Dresdens are created by appliquing one on top of the other, and striking when combined with black. The designer used a machine quilting tool (CGRQTA3), or you can quilt with your checkbook! The wedges were cut with the Creative Grids 22-1/2 degree ruler (CGRT225) which makes it a 16 petal Dresden. BTW, a Dresden can be made with any triangle. To determine the number of petals you will need, divide the angle, in this case 22-1/2 into 360, to determine the number of petals required to complete the ring! It IS that easy!
